Kim Victoria Cattrall, born on the 21st of August, 1956 in London, is a British and Canadian actor from Canada and Britain. She is most famous for her character Samantha Jones on the HBO show Sex and the City. She was nominated for the Golden Globe Award for 2002 as the best supporting female Actor. She reprised the lead role on The Sex and the City (2008 as well as Sex and the City 2) (2010) films. In the 80s she played lead roles as a Police Academy Big Trouble Little China Mannequin in addition to Porky's. There is a lot of talk about Kim Cattrall and the first thing that strikes the mind is her part as Samantha Jones in the popular HBO TV sitcom Sex & the City. The film won an Oscar and the Golden Palm at the Cannes Film Festival in 1960 and was also a commercial and critical hit. The actress was born in Sweden's Skane and did modeling before she started her acting career. Then she won the Miss Sweden contest. Following her move to the US she started acting in several movies, playing small roles. She played the Venusian Guard on Abbott and Costello Go to Mars, her first part in a credit role. Soon after, her appearance on the screen in Blood Alley won her the Golden Globe for Most Promising debutante.
